Quads don't groove right, whereas trikes will lock right into that groove and go right around. and so on and so forth :īTW, trikes are a different world than quads are. If you want a faster trike, then you need a 200X or a 350X, but I suggest starting off with a 200X, because it's such an awesome all around sport trike that will jump, go fast, donuts, wheelies. I love my 110, but wouldn't ever think of putting a bigger powerplant in it. at 55mm the standard barrel has enough metal left in it. externally it still looks like a stock ct110 engine. i wont need to bore the cases for a larger sleeve or barrel. They like to do donuts and go over small jumps, and wheelies and the likes too. Use a atc 125 crank,CT110 conrod+barrel and a 55mm piston. Honda had launched the ATC genre in 1970 with the release of the US90, and they would remain market leaders until the demise of the three-wheeler in the late 1980s. ![]() When one installs a Chinese clone in an ATC do they make the head mount. The Honda ATC110 was the most powerful three-wheeler that Honda had ever made when it was introduced in 1979. The ATC90/110 engines have head mounts, The Lifan is a China clone and not sold to use head mounts. The pressed frames aren't made for jumping at all (don't ask how i know). Hi all, the Lifan 125cc is a poular swap in CT90 and 110 and can only guess they have been also swapped in the ATC90 and 110 to replace the stock motor. ![]() I do 1 foot AT MOST on my 110, and won't take it any higher without one of the hard to get and expensive aftermarket frames (because there's not a lot of them left, and nobody is reproducing them). The lack of suspension also prohibits them from jumping really high. Over that and you're pushing the limits of what the entire motorcycle can do. A 110 is more of a SUT (Sport/Utility Trike) of sorts, being that they have Hi/Low gearing for crawling up hillsides or pulling large loads, and a nice semi-auto 4 speed tranny that can get them up to about 40 mph. If you want to haul ass then a 110 is not for you.
